Thank you John Schrock and the BVM media team at the Fredericksburg Neighbors Magazine for the June 2024 cover and featured article "Meet Kathy Weigand - Artist and Photographer".
Additionally, western artist Pam Bunch was selected for their "Local Artist Series".
The feature article talks about Kathy growing up on the Rocking J ranch just outside Fredericksburg TX. With the simple country & western lifestyle as part of her roots, she first became a professional photographer and worked her way to earning the prestigious PPA Master of Photography (M. Photog.) Degree. She then became a professional oil painter.
As a representational artist, subjects often include images of The American West.
Pam Bunch, a native of West Texas, is a cowboy & western signature artist working in both watercolor and oils. Pam is a signature member of the American Plains Artists (APA), an associate member of the Women Artists of the West (WAOW), and is owner of the Lee Bunch Art Gallery in Del Rio Texas.
Both artists are represented at Western Galleries online art gallery in Fredericksburg TX.
Fredericksburg has become a major travel Texas destination town, and for many Texans, it's a favorite for shopping fine art.
