Collection: Pam Bunch APA

OILS | WATERCOLORS

Texas born and raised, Pam grew up along the Texas-Mexico border, and resides in Del Rio.
Having a long line of artists on her mother’s side, Pam has been surrounded with art throughout her life, but did not begin to paint professionally until after her children were grown and on their own.
One of her favorite mediums is watercolor, due to its challenge and translucency.  In 2015 Pam also began painting in oils.  Her style, although evolving, often reflects both realism and impressionism.
Subjects include: horses, working cowboys, ranch life, livestock, Native Americans, and animals of the Great Plains.
Pam must acknowledge notable artists John Fawcett, Matt Smith, and Ginger Test, for their professional advice and encouragement over the years.   Other renown artists influencing her continuing growth and art career are: Jan Kunz, Linda Doll, Tom Lockhart, Scott Christensen, Ian Roberts, and Kevin Macpherson.
Her passion is to paint daily from her heart.  Once an artwork is completed, she hopes the painting conveys emotions, or stirs fond memories for viewers.
Artwork is exhibited throughout the year in various juried National, and International art shows, as well as published in:  Art of The West & Western Art Collector magazines.
