  JoAnne has dedicated much time to the Arts.  While raising her family, they resided in New England, as well as California.  Both areas offered many opportunities for advanced studies with several notable and important American artists.  
  Moving back to Texas, she owned an art gallery in Salado.  This opened up a new world of art appreciation while being immersed in the creative realms of other artists and curating gallery exhibitions. 
  With her classical art foundation, her style has strengthened and evolved into a distinctively recognizable, comfortable painterly style, grounded in impressionism.  Her artwork has won numerous awards.  
  JoAnne currently resides in Fredericksburg TX with her artist husband Robert Spencer.
