JoAnne Spencer benefited from a strong foundation of classical art from the time she was a child.  
  Along with raising her family, JoAnne has also dedicated much time to the Arts.  Residing in California as well as New England offered many opportunities for advanced studies with several noted and important artists.  
  Moving back to Texas and owning an art gallery in Salado, Texas opened a new world of art appreciation while being immersed in the creative realms of other artists and gallery exhibitions. 
  Her classical art foundation has strengthened and evolved into a distinctively recognizable, comfortable painterly style, grounded in impressionism.
  Her artwork has won numerous awards, and she currently resides in Fredericksburg TX with her husband/artist Robert Spencer.
