Book is Heading to The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville Texas

We are pleased to announce that this 1st edition book, of Cowboy Artist & sculptor, Harry Jackson, has been added to the book collection at The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville Texas.

Inscribed on the front page:

"For Griff & Betty Carnes, Best to you both
- Harry Jackson Dallas 1981"

By the spring of 1983, Griff Carnes would serve as Founding Director of the Cowboy Artist Museum in Kerrville Texas, which is now known as The Museum of Western Art (MOWA).

Mr Carnes was also an Honorary Member of the Cowboy Artists of America.

NOTE: The MOWA was just recently named the #3 Best Western Art Museum by True West Magazine -  Congratulations!

When a member our staff first saw this book for sale at a book store, they happened to recognize the inscribed names and thought, "It would be neat to get it to the Museum in Kerrville since Griff was a major part of its foundation."

And we agree.
Sometimes its the little things in life that help make a difference.
