Collection: Carol Darling SAA
CHARCOAL/ GRAPHITE PRINTS
Carol Darling began drawing at the age of five, and during her childhood she lived in Europe which enabled the young artist to consistently view and study original artworks created by the great Renaissance Masters.
An honor student and top graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design, Darling also graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a degree in Secondary Arts Education. This parallel career in arts teaching enabled her to influence the careers of professional artists across the country.
Carol Darling is a signature member of the prestigious Society of Animal Artists. The SAA is a world-wide leading Art Society devoted to promoting art excellence in both domestic and wild animals.
Artwork has been shown in the World Wildlife Museum, San Antonio, Denver and El Paso Zoos, the Institute of Texan Cultures, The Witte Museum, The Museum of Western Art, and many other galleries across the U.S. Her completed drawings for the Frost Bank Collection of Texas Art, sponsored by Sakowitz of Houston, won the honor of “Best of Texas” in the drawing division.
