Collection: JoAnne Spencer

OILS | WATERCOLOR

JoAnne Spencer has dedicated much of her life to the Fine Art industry.  She grew up surrounded by art events, participating in artist gatherings and meetings with her mother, who was also an artist.
While raising their own children, the Spencer family traveled much and resided in New England, as well as California, both of which offered many opportunities for advanced studies with several notable and important American artists.
Moving back to Texas, she owned and operated an art gallery in Salado.  This opened a whole new world of art appreciation, immersed in the creative realms of other artists and curating gallery exhibitions.
With her foundation in classical art, JoAnne's unique style has strengthened and evolved into a distinctively recognizable, comfortable painterly style, grounded in impressionism.
Her paintings are juried into annual art exhibits, and earn numerous awards, including several Best of Show awards.
