  JoAnne has dedicated much time to the Arts.  While raising their family, the Spencers resided in New England, as well as California.  Both areas offered many opportunities for advanced studies with several notable and important American artists.  
  Moving back to Texas, she owned and operated an art gallery in Salado.  This opened a new world of art appreciation, immersed in the creative realms of other artists, and curating gallery exhibitions. 
  With her classical art foundation, JoAnne's unique style has strengthened and evolved into a distinctively recognizable, comfortable painterly style, grounded in impressionism.  Her artwork continues to earn numerous awards.  
  JoAnne resides in Fredericksburg TX with her artist husband Robert Spencer.
