Texas artist Calvin Carter can add a new magazine cover to his already impressive art resume which includes over 30+ magazine covers.
Carter's recent private commission painting titled, Surf Fishing, has recently been published as the cover of Texas Outdoors Journal magazine. Advertised as the award winning #1 Outdoor Magazine in Texas, this new June 2025 issue is available in newsstands across Texas and USA.

Carter's original paintings are in the permanent collection of the Pearce Museum in Corsicana Tx, have been featured in numerous art galleries, exhibits, used as Wildlife Stamp editions, limited edition signed prints and advertising, including;
Oil Painters of America (OPA) Western Regional exhibition held at the Phippen Museum in Arizona, The Sportsman's Galleries shows and catalogs in Nashville TN and Charleston SC, Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) stamps & limited edition signed print series, Federal Duck Stamp awards, Texas Ducks Unlimited, as well as national art magazines such as; Southwest Art, and Art of The West.
