Deadwood, South Dakota
One of the more famous stagecoach routes in the Wild West, with many historical events. After it went out of business (railroad had arrived) Buffalo Bill Cody purchased a coach and used in his shows. It's on display at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, an affiliate of the Smithsonian, in Cody WY.
