Artist's Notes:
We enjoy visiting the McCullough Peaks Wild Horse Range near Cody Wyoming.  While searching for the horses in the remote high desert, we were slowly driving down a rough dirt road scanning the distant hills.  We went over a small ridge and to our delight there was a burrowing owl watching us.  It was our first sighting of a burrowing owl in the wild.
